Hive Builder Rules

  1. Choose an Easy or Medium board before you start.
  2. Use the root in the center on every build.
  3. You can submit the root by itself, a prefix plus root, a root plus suffix, or all three parts together.
  4. Only exact approved words for that board count as correct.
  5. Found words appear right away in your list so you can learn as you go.

What makes a word valid

A word is valid only if it belongs to the current curated board. Hive Builder does not accept alternate spellings or close guesses unless they are explicitly part of that board's approved word list.

That makes each round clearer, more teachable, and easier to trust.

How scoring works

What you see at the end of a round

When a board ends, Hive Builder shows the words you found, the words you missed, and the definitions and breakdowns for every approved answer on that board.

This turns each board into a short learning loop instead of just a score screen.
