- Keep finding approved words until you finish the board or reveal the remaining answers.
- Use the end-of-round review to study the words you found and the words you missed.
What counts as a valid Hive Builder word
A valid answer must use the current root and match one of the approved words for that board. Hive Builder is not a free-form dictionary search; it is a focused morphology round built around teachable word families.
That means a close guess, alternate spelling, or possible word from another root will not count unless it is part of the current board.
How to think through a board
Test one side at a time
Try prefix plus root, then root plus suffix, before combining both. This makes mistakes easier to understand.
Watch meaning shifts
A prefix can reverse, repeat, or change direction. A suffix can change tense, role, or word form.
