Context Clue Challenge Rules
- Choose Easy, Medium, or Hard before you start the round.
- Choose how many questions you want in the round.
- Read the full sentence or short passage before picking an answer.
- Select one choice for sentence rounds, or one word for each sentence blank in Hard passage rounds.
- See the correct answer and explanation right away.
- Finish the full round to reach the summary and review what you missed.
How the difficulty modes work
- Easy uses shorter single-sentence clues with more obvious context support.
- Medium keeps one sentence but makes the clueing subtler.
- Hard uses short passages, so you need to combine clues across multiple sentences.
What makes an answer correct
Each question has one best fit based on the full context. In Hard passage rounds, that means choosing the right word for each sentence blank, not just finding one nearby clue.
That keeps the round fair, teachable, and easier to trust.
How scoring works
- Correct answer: 1 point
- Incorrect answer: 0 points
- Perfect round: bonus 1 point
What you see at the end of a round
When a round ends, Context Clue Challenge shows your total score, the difficulty you played, and the questions you missed with the correct answers and explanations.
This keeps the result screen useful without turning it into a long worksheet review.
