1. The Goal
Solve a sequence of word puzzles that grow from 4 letters to 7 letters. Every correct guess moves you to the next level.
2. How Guesses Work
Each guess must be a valid English word. After submitting a guess, tiles will show:
- Green: correct letter in the correct position
- Yellow: letter is in the word but wrong position
- Gray: letter not in the word
3. Hints
You start with hints available each day. Using a hint reveals the first letter of the word. Each hint costs 10 points.
4. Scoring
You earn points based on how quickly you solve each level:
- 1st try: +100
- 2nd try: +70
- 3rd try: +50
- 4th try: +35
- 5th try: +25
- 6th try: +18
Failing a level gives 0 points for that level.
5. Streaks
Completing the daily WordHive puzzle extends your streak. Failing resets it.
6. Play Daily
A new puzzle unlocks every day. Challenge friends by using the share button on the end-of-game card.
7. Challenge a friend
Word games are more fun with a bit of competition. After you finish today’s puzzle, share WordHive with a friend and see who can get the higher score or longest streak.
