A few things to know
Is this an unlimited Wordle-style game?
Yes. Hive Five uses five-letter words and six guesses, with no daily cap on rounds. It is WordHive’s own game, with optional solo clues and same-word friend challenges. It is not affiliated with Wordle or The New York Times. Words can repeat after you work through the pool.
Can we play at the same time?
Yes. Sign in, find your friend, and send a request. Once accepted, both players can guess independently with live progress updates. You can also resume later from Your matches; requests expire after seven days and accepted rounds have seven days to finish.
Do I need an account?
Guest practice is free without an account. Sign in to earn up to 25 Honey per day from clean solo solves and join the Hive Five leaderboard. Player search, requests, notifications, and saved head-to-head matches use your WordHive account. You can also share a completed unassisted solo score as a guest challenge link.
Can I use the Hint Bee in a challenge?
The Hint Bee is for solo rounds: a free clue in guest practice or a 15-Honey clue in account play. Challenges use six guesses and no hints for both players. An assisted solo result cannot be shared as a score to beat.
How is this different from Daily Hive?
Daily Hive is our shared daily climb from four to seven letters. Hive Five stays at five letters, with unlimited rounds and casual friend challenges. Their progress stays separate.
